A Village Society for anyone interested in the history of the village and in protecting its environment.

What is the Society For?
Broadly,
To protect the unusual and attractive nature of the village and its immediate surroundings.
Specifically,
To promote high standards of planning and architecture, and
To encourage the preservation and development of features of historic and public interest in the village.
What Does the Society Do?
Activities include:
A programme of talks in the Village Hall during the autumn and winter months
Visits to places of interest in the spring and summer
Social events.
Comments may be made on appropriate planning matters.
What Does it Cost?
The annual subscription is £1 per person.
Entrance to talks in the Village Hall is £1.50.
