History
The recreation ground lies in the centre of the village, near the crossroads. It contains a children's play area with slide and swings, a meadow with a pond and seating, a tennis court, and a large open area for football and other activities.
- Early 1970s: Under the supervision of Parish Councillor Alan Wyatt, a field formerly used for grazing was levelled to create a new recreation ground.
- 2009: Again after pressure from Mr Wyatt, the ground was purchased from the District Council by the Parish Council to prevent it from being built on.
