History
This site was named Poplar Hall on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map. Around the 1950s it was a terrace of four houses called Manor Farm Cottages, and in 1962 the four cottages were converted to two. In 1997 it was called Hilton Farm. It is presently named College House, while Hilton Farm remains the name of the farm to the north.
